Enjoying the wines of local area has gained a new dimension.
In the courtyard of the former church of St. Roko on main Zadar market, the city’s first wine garden, Wine Garden Zadar, has opened its doors!
A small wine oasis has been created with a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere that tells its own unique story. Since it is a kind of a monument, heritage, we were not allowed to intervene too much in changing the space, but the place is just so beautiful and special as it is. The space is decorated with things that symbolize the former Dalmatia and the region from which the offered wines originate. And everything is additionally “seasoned” with herbs and flowers that are symbolic for this region of ours.
We tried to gather all the winemakers of Zadar region in our wine garden, and since wine cannot be drunk without good snacks, we also included local producers of cheese, prosciutto, olive oil and other local delicacies.
In this way, we created a place where local people, as well as tourists who come to our city, can taste the top products of this region. A small shop has also been opened in the garden so that all those who taste the products can buy them and take them with them as souvenirs and a wonderful memory of Zadar.
During the summer months, you can relax in our garden with various cocktails specially created for our wine garden and with live music, whether it’s a capella songs from Zadar area, modern music chosen for you by Zadar DJs or other various performers from Zadar.
